Just Can't Get Enough

Yes, we realize the Christmas season is over.  We have sadly taken down our village display and the lights from the tree are tucked away.  Soon, the red we see will be representative of Valentine's Day love rather than holly and candy canes.

However, we are still receiving new books and the one that made us all chuckle today was this new title:

My Pen Pal, Santa by Melissa Stanton.

Ava is a lucky young girl who exchanges letters throughout the year with Santa.  In the book, we learn that Santa loves to swim, has a black belt in karate (just take a look at his picture to see it!), and grows special corn in the summer for his reindeer.

The friendship between Ava and Santa begins with a thank you note.  So kids, don't forget Santa this year if you haven't already written out all those thank you cards for your presents.  You never know ... Santa might just write back!
