November is Picture Book Month
We celebrate picture books every day of the year at the Dearborn Public Libraries, but that doesn’t mean we won’t celebrate extra hard this month. Visit the Picture Book Month website to read about why lots of authors and illustrators think picture books are important.
We’ll be sharing our favorite picture books with you throughout the month. Check back here throughout the month for lots of great suggestions!

Election 2011 started November 1st. Come scope out the candidate's campaign posters in the Children's Department at Henry Ford Centennial Library November 1st through 6th. Keep your eyes peeled, you never know where you'll see a poster. You might even find a campaign sticker or two. Come back and vote November 7th-10th. Your voices must be heard! Exercise your right to vote in 2011!
