Poetry Month, Day 29
These are from a couple of very famous American poets. Neither is a happy poem but both are important to American literature.
The first is from
Edgar Allan Poe
...
Alone
.
The second is from
T.S. Eliot
...
The Hollow Men.
This is the way the world ends.
Not with a bang but a whimper.
Stop by tomorrow for a silly end to Poetry Month.
