Trains!

Long before cars, trucks, airplanes, and buses, trains ruled the land. Traveling on rails, these giant machines carried freight shipments and passengers all across the United States. Trains used to be powered by steam, but now can run on electricity or diesel fuel. To find out more about these behemoths, visit Dearborn Public Library and check out a few of these titles.
